Chris-Ann serves as a co-anchor for Carolina Ahora, a biweekly Spanglish newscast connecting with diverse audiences. She scripts and generates content for her segment, Mind Matters, which explores neuroscience and psychology, making them relevant to college students. Covering topics like election day decision-making and the psychological importance of spending time with family during the holidays, she brings critical issues to life. Chris-Ann also keyed into her love for learning about different people by conducting live interviews, adding depth and authenticity to her reporting. Behind the scenes, she honed her technical skills by operating the teleprompter and managing various graphic positions, ensuring the newscast’s success.

Hurricane Helene Coverage
Chris-Ann traveled to Asheville, North Carolina, to cover the impact of Hurricane Helene, focusing on the resilience of the community in the face of disaster. Through in-depth interviews with executives and students at the nonprofit Asheville City Schools Foundation, she explored how their motto of "community" has united people and fostered strength during challenging times. Her reporting also highlighted the importance of the In Real Life after-school program in providing stability, resources, and hope for students as they navigated the aftermath of the storm.
